Fathers' rights group angered by Kate Winslet's parenting

Most people in Essex County believe that it is in a child's best interest to have both parents in his or her life. Obviously, this is not always the case, but most of the time it is. For a long time, New Jersey family law courts favored the mother when it came to assigning parenting time. If the father got any time with his children it was certainly not close to half. Though the law no longer favors one parent over the other, there are some men who still believe that fathers' rights are not given as much respect as mothers' rights.

Collaborative divorce as alternative to going to court

Collaborative divorce was primarily invented to motivate spouses to be more respectful and open with each other when it came to various divorce issues. The process is held outside of the courtroom. Both sides are then encouraged to provide information concerning debts and assets. Neutral experts are then retained to evaluate the needs of each spouse and any children the two spouses may have had.

Who said finalizing a divorce has to be a sad event?

We’re at the end of another year, looking ahead to the next. It’s a time when people start thinking about New Year’s resolutions and new beginnings. It’s a time for celebration; so why can’t those who are finalizing their divorce treat being single again as an exciting fresh start?

Husband accuses wife of hiding assets during divorce settlement

In the case of one couple's divorce, the assets turned out to be vastly understated.  The husband was apparently making about $43,000 a year.  Part of that income was then paid out in child support.  A few years later he discovered that his wife invested in Twitter, and the investment then grew into the millions of dollars.

Honored as a "Best of New Jersey Among our Most Distinguished Americans of Italian Descent" and conferred the "Stivale D'Italia Award of Excellence" by the Italian Tribune for her "honesty, integrity and dedication to fair and ethical business practices" and her "outstanding reputation as a Woman Whose Word is Her Bond".
