Welcome to the high-tech world of family law

They’ve been around since the beginning of time. Divorces, child custody battles and fights about who gets what when a couple splits are some of the oldest conflicts known to man. As such, we don’t generally think of the area of family law as a very tech-savvy field. It’s one that sticks to the tried and true methods that have worked for ages, right?

New Jersey men allegedly used strong-arm tactics to force divorce

File this one under truth is stranger than fiction. Two New Jersey men have been arrested and charged with kidnapping after they allegedly used strong-arm tactics to force an Orthodox Jewish man to divorce his wife. We know divorce is a time of high emotion, but this case took it well beyond emotions.

New Jersey family law issues and forced divorce

Sometimes when couples have troubles, both may decide a divorce is in order. Sometimes, though, only one person wants a divorce or wants some other type of arrangement the partner may be against. When this happens it can be difficult for the couple to reach an agreement. Where that is the case, legal options can be looked at in order to ascertain as to what can be done to resolve the situation.

New approach minimizes delinquent child support payments

In New Jersey and everywhere for that matter, when it comes to paying child support, there can be a number of issues that arise. There is a lot of press given to 'deadbeat dads,' but there can be legitimate reasons why the non-custodial parent falls behind on payments. In addition to paying child support, non-custodial parents can also be required to pay other expenses in part or in full. It can feel overwhelming to the non-custodial parent who may love the child but be struggling to manage it all.

Revenge porn protection for New Jersey couples in divorce

When a couple divorces, emotions are bound to run high and poor judgment can ensue. Though it is no excuse for bad behavior, it is not uncommon to hear tales of one spouse in the divorce taking revenge upon the other in any number of ways, including keying cars, smashing out headlights and windshields and other acts of violence.

Honored as a "Best of New Jersey Among our Most Distinguished Americans of Italian Descent" and conferred the "Stivale D'Italia Award of Excellence" by the Italian Tribune for her "honesty, integrity and dedication to fair and ethical business practices" and her "outstanding reputation as a Woman Whose Word is Her Bond".
