When New Jersey spouses want to end their marriages, a number of decisions must be made, especially if they have children. Former reality TV star Allexis Bellino recently achieved a divorce settlement that addressed several of these topics.
Bellino and her former husband Jim agreed to a shared custody arrangement for their three children. The court ordered the kids’ father to pay $2,000 per child in monthly support payments. He must also provide $10,000 per month in spousal support.
During the marriage, the couple purchased a home together. As part of the settlement, the deed was signed over to Bellino, and she now resides in the home with a new partner. A house is a major asset in most divorces and it can be difficult to determine whether it’s best to sell a home, have one parent keep it or, as in some situations, allow the children to continue living there while parents take turns living with them when it’s their turn for parenting time. Bellino was also received a $250,000 judgment in the settlement.
